Aucklanders, it is time to carpool

When Sarah Painter moved back to Auckland from Taupo earlier this year, she couldn't believe that the city had transit lanes for cars carrying more than one passenger, but very few cars in them.

Not wanting to resort to the blow up doll in the passenger seat solution she started carpooling, and this week she's organising a carpool day to encourage other Aucklanders to do the same.
